Romina Generali currently serves as a Student Support Coordinator for the Office of Mentoring, Retention, and Success Programs at The College of New Jersey. Romina graduated from New Jersey City University in 2019 with a BA in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies and from Monmouth University in 2021 with an M.S.e.D in Educational Counseling. As a first-generation Latina college student, Romina discovered early on that she wanted to pursue a career in higher education where she could work to support historically excluded students.

Previously, Romina worked as a graduate assistant for the Intercultural Center at Monmouth University and as an EOF Retention Specialist at Middlesex County College. In her current role at TCNJ, she supports students in a mentoring program designed specifically for Black and Latinx/e students. In all of her roles, Romina has sought to uplift the voices of first-generation, Latinx/e, and all underserved students who deserve to be supported in higher education.
